MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
Active Member: Active Member shall include any person employed in a criminal justice agency, either civilian or sworn, who is admitted to membership by the Association and is current with dues.
Professional Member: A Professional member shall include those people who are not eligible for active membership but are qualified by training, experience, or position to be members of the Association. An example of this type of membership may be, but not limited to, employees of law enforcement agencies of other states outside of North Carolina. A professional member shall not have voting privileges, nor shall that member be allowed to hold office within the Association.
Honorary Member: Honorary members shall be those individuals who, in the determination of the Association, have demonstrated interest in the purposes and objectives of the Association but do not meet the criteria for active or associate membership. Honorary members shall be non-voting, non-dues-paying members.
